Difficulty
Time 15 minutes (plus 1-2 hours setting time)
Servings 16
- Saucepan
- Large Bowl
- 8"x8" Tin
- Spatula
- Parchment Paper
- 240g Smooth Peanut Butter
- 175g Honey
- 275g Rolled Oats
- 30g Coconut Oil (Optional)
- Line an 8"x8" inch tin with parchment paper. Add the oats to a large bowl.
- Gently melt the peanut butter, honey, and coconut oil (if using) in a saucepan over a low heat until smooth. Once smooth keep on the heat for an additional 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Pour the wet ingredients on to the oats and quickly stir together until fully combined. Once the oats are fully coated pour them in to your lined tin and press down to firmly pack the mix.
- Chill your breakfast bars in freezer for 1 hour until firm, then cut in to pieces, and then store the bars in the fridge! Enjoy!
- - Store your no bake breakfast bars in an airtight container in the fridge, where they will last for 1-2 weeks!
- - These no-bake breakfast bars are versatile; lots of add-ins work well with them! Try - chocolate chips, dried fruits such as chopped dates or cranberries, nuts, seeds, vanilla extract, sea salt, desiccated coconut, or spices such as cinnamon.
- - The rolled oats can also be substituted for another cereal - try swapping the oats for 350g of cheerios, or rice krispies!
